Metal cover for gas line

The Edel 665 in these pics is 100X prettier than my current new aquisition....but I will get mine there!

One thing that I am missing is the metal screw cap that fits in the hole that the gas line feeds through. Or at least I think that is what that metal hole is used for....the boat in these pics actually has another hole, facing the stern, through which the gas line is fed. Mine doesn't; it only has this metal hole and I am reluctant to punch anymore holes until I fix all the cracks and holes that are on my to do list at least.

So I am looking for a new cap or other suggestions to seal the metal hole. Right now it is covered with duct tape to keep the water out of that back locker which drains into the port lazerette.

Anyone know what that hole thing is called? Made by?

Thanks muchly!

As a new boat owner I am learning so much here...thanks to all for your sharing...your Moms taught you well!

The one in the picture looks a little like a deck fill. If it is you might be able to find another cap at places like rigrite.com or catalinadirect.com. Otherwise, not sure.
