Hatch size

We are doing a major rebuils of a classic plastic ketch. As part of the process I am replacing the deck hatches. Can anyone point me to a resource to get the required dimensions of an "egress" hatch. The one I am most concerned about is in the V berth area.

Thanks

Re: Hatch size

My bow hatch is 23 X 23 and is fine BUT i guess it would depend on the size of the person

All the NEW hatches have different corner radius SO you have to pick careful to not make the install a nightmare

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat

Lewmar has the ratings, however a Lewmar Ocean 70 comes to mind for egress for an escape hatch.
