Help needed choosing new blinds

I need to replace the micro [ 1/2 inch width ] blinds on Elephants Child.

The ones I have have corrosion on the painted aluminium slats and are looking well past their BEST BUY date.

I am going to buy them in the USA and get them shipped to Grenada.

I like the way the 1/2 inch wide micro blinds look so does that restrict me to ali slats? Are there other options I should look at. White or cream preferred.

My questions are which type/company/material are best on a boat?

Re: Help needed choosing new blinds

Sorry being a Brit I don't know what a "window treatment" is.

Nope to alternative window treatments.

I like micro blinds just wondering is there a Rolls Royce of blind manufacturers and a better alternative for the slats.

Re: Help needed choosing new blinds

try next day blinds or just blinds. There are other options depending on how much light you want to come in when they are closed. Most alternatives are fabric, so they may not work in a marine environment.
