Fair price for maxwell 14 winches?

Hey guys

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've got a pair of maxwell 14s that I'm looking to sell to a friend.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what a fair price would be. I've checked Google, Ebay, and a couple other sites but I can't seem to find anything. One of them is left-handed, if that makes any difference.

Thanks for your help

There's a page on the rigrite site with some historical information.

You might have a pair of port and starboard winches. This was, imho, a good idea that just never could overcome the "standard" (i.e. industrial design inertia) of having all winches turn in the same direction regardless of which side of the boat they were mounted mounted on.

Looks like spare parts are problematical. Are yours self tailing? That would give them some value. If not... maybe not so much.

Best of luck.

As others have said not much unless self tailing. $100 for the pair

Self tailing maybe $300
