Trade Mark Identity

Anyone have any idea as to this brand ?

(In case you are wondering it is a 23*9 mm Clevis Pin.)

Nice try but nope. Its out of a lifeline fitting on a Malo sloop built in 2004. Probably European. Definitely manufactured this century.

Hasselfors - nice stuff. I used their bits when I made up lifelines for my old boat.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.

Looks like it.. odd the company doesn't seem to have their own web site....

You are a gem Sloop ... thank you so much.

(Of course they are the most expensive Clevis pins on the face of the planet. That'll teach me to drop the sucker overboard. )

May have gone the way of the dinosaurs.

Re: Trade Mark Identity

Bit strange. I can find a mob in the UK who sell the brand but they don't have the size I am after in Hasselfor though they do in another brand.

As Fast mentions they do not appear to have their own web presence. Couple that with a very limited range it does make me wonder if they are extinct.

Maybe I'll send an email to Malo and see what they say. I'd like to keep them all the same but hey we are only talking Clevis pins.

Re: Trade Mark Identity

It's just a clevis pin! The brand doesn't matter! (assuming it's not made in china junk) Just get the one they have that's the right size.

too true but when every other Clevis pin on the boat is that brand, well you know how it is.

Then again I'm thinking of adding a couple of extra winches and I'm not at all sure I'll be springing for Anderson ....

I just bought new winches and I got full stainless Andersens for the same price as the Lewmars and less than the Harkens. It seems Andersen has dropped their prices lately!
