Mark -
You should have an inline fuel filter between the tank and the engine.
Main thing to watch out for with Yamaha two stroke dinghy engines?
Theft.

I appear to have no fuel filter then. Is there anything wrong with adding one inside the o/b, between the bulkhead connector and the carb?
