shortwave radio..

Hi all,
I just purchased a little Tecsun PL-660 radio.
It has a syncronous detector!

Anyway, supposedly, I can get weather plots using the shortwave SSB feature.

Can anyone lead me to what type of cable I must purchase and your favorite software package for this?

The radio has an audio output. I think thats what I connect my laptop to, right?

Re: shortwave radio..

Use the audio out (earphone jack) and connect this to your audio/mike in on your laptop
We use JVComm, works great for downloading weather faxes.
