The right mix ?

Forgive me for being daft, My engine takes a 50.1 mix so for 1 liter its 20 ml per liter yes, now this jug I got is saying grams someone please point me out on this jug where to fill it with oil for 1 liter of petrol 50.1 mix

At the top of this jug its says 2% and 1% My guess is its fill to the 1 on the 2% side for one liter but need it confirmed ?

Re: The right mix ?

50:1 is a 2% mixture. 1 gal. of mixture (128 ounces) requires 125 ounces of gasoline and 2.56 ounces of 2-cycle oil. Metrically speaking, 1 L. of mix requires 20 ml. of 2-cycle oil.

Re: The right mix ?

I think the OP got it right. For one liter of fuel, you fill oil to the number 1 (it says liters on the bottom) on the 2% side of the scale. 50 to 1 is 2%.

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

Re: The right mix ?

Get you a ratio-rite. Its a fancy mixing cup made for mixing 2-stroke oil-gas.

Ratio-Rite Measuring Cup - Street Bike - Motorcycle Superstore

I use it for my boat, chainsaw, weedwacker, go-kart, you name it !!!

Get one with the lid to keep debris out.
