phenoseal as bedding compound

Has anyone ever used Phenoseal Does-It-All cauk as bedding compound on fiberglass decks?

Seems an attractive alternative to other bedding compoundsv - simple to use, and relatively inexpensive.

I''ve rebedded most of the hardware on my boat with it, and am wondering if I have made a mistake.
