sweet deal

Went by the army surplus store thursday and found 2 pelican 1730 transport cases for 95 bucks a piece. Now its time to paint with fusion white to somewhat match the deck and fab up some racks. Great water proof outdoor storage.

Score indeed!

I had also thought about using "rocket boxes" which are the car top ski carriers that you see on every SUV these days. Definitely designed for secure mounting, high winds, and weather.

I have a sauna on my boat, therefore I win.

Re: sweet deal

Thought about that too but these cases have wheels and pull handles so they can also be used for luggage. I like these because they will not take up much deck space and at the price I got them for I could not pass them up.
