Watermaker Supply Hose

I have some Trident braided black rubber hose that I'd like to use to supply my watermaker filters and pump, before the membranes in the low pressure side. Do you foresee any problems with using black rubber? Taste? Contamination?
Thanks!

Re: Watermaker Supply Hose

Hoses for water whic will be used for drinking should have NSF ratings. I used the Tridnet striped hoses for anitation, but I think they odnt qualify for drinking water and may harbor bacteria.
