cetal for a cabin sole

Has any one used cetol on your cabin sole. I have used it every were else and love it, But I was thinking it would be to soft for the cabin sole, and the table. Dose it mare up quickly, and how many cotes did you use.

I put the satin on my cabin sole a couple of years ago and it holds up well. No problems. I think I put on three or four coats, but no shoes allowed on cruising boat - shoes mandatory on racing boat. I also bought a narrow throw rug at Home Depot when I was up in America (we NOW have one of the behemoths here in the Virgin Islands) that runs fore and aft from head door to engine compartment. Picks up sand and crap and just shake it over the side once in awhile.
