Did Lewmar say anything about grinding the propellor to fit the tube would cause problems?

Re: Lewmar 185tt Bow Thruster Install - Clearances/Cutting off Blades

The UK guys seemed confused as to why I had not ground it down already and said that it was what was done in the UK to make them work. The guy I talked to and the one standing behind him and in the conversation were in the " If it doesn't -fit grind it down, no big deal" category. They seemed to distinguish between metal tubes and fiberglass but they are virtually the same ID--- 7 9/32 versus 7 5/16. The thought that they were shipping a defective product that requires rework to unsuspecting customers was not an issue. The only question that I have left is whether the part matches the print. So-- the Lewmar UK response is "GRIND IT DOWN SUCKER!!!"
