Mast wiring

I have a wooden mast and have been trying everything I can think of short of cutting the mast apart to run new wiring. I''ve tried bailing wire, electrician''s "fish tape," even tried using fishing line sucked down the conduit with a vacuum cleaner. No luck. Any ideas would be most appreciated!

Mast wiring

What about bicycle or bead chain, or is the passage too small? ( Your mast is up, of course.)

Mast wiring

have you already removed the old wiring? if not, why not use your old wiring to pull the new wiring through?
What sort of inside circumference are you dealing with? Is there room to thread some sort of flexible or semi-stiff plastic conduit?
Good luck with this
Rob
