"New" Pineapple Sails

Hi ya'll,

I don't post much, but I wanted to brag a little. I just scored a new set of sails for my Montego 20 (they were originally made for a Laguna Windrose 20 actually). There's a dacron main and a 155% mylar genoa. As far as I can tell they've never seen a halyard, much less been used to actually sail. They've apparently been in the bags since new - in 1991. I gave 400 bucks for the set.

Read more about them on my site at theyachtbarn.com

I just had to brag to some people who would understand my excitement - thanks for listening!

Re: "New" Pineapple Sails

I know what you mean.. we scored a (lightly) used main and jib off a J105 for the same price for our 34 footer.. another $200 in recuts and we were in business. Nice to get a break on that sort of thing nowadays...

Faster - for a 34 foot boat, sounds like you got a really great deal as well!
