This place is freakin' amazing.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.

You problem is proababaly shaft related, whether its growth or cutlass.

I would venture to say if all was fine before it is growth. Its amazing how a few barnacles can retard the boat speed. Thats the simple solution. More complicated could be shaft misalignment, a bad cutless bearing, or the coupling especially since you said you felt vibration, but again growth can cause that also. Think simple first. Chef2sail
Its ok that jrd22 is a good fellow

.....Yes because of the Barnacles...but I am jiggy with sharing with John. I would love to me him when I get out that way as he seems like a great guy. He has an awesome boat it looks like too.

All I can say is..I am glad I was wrong!

There isn't a device on this world that can measure the indifference I have for that statement.
