Used Balmar Alternator

So - when I bought my boat a little over 5 years ago the PO had tons of old gear that he let go with the boat. I thought I had gone through everything and found the good stuff, but this weekend I looked in one of the boxes o' junk looking for some snap shackles, and found an old Balmar alternator. Sweet! ....if it works:

The nameplate says it is a 100 amp unit, and it would be awesome to replace the stock Yanmar alternator I have with this if this still works. The Yanmar alternator is a dual foot mount and this one is a single, though. Does anyone know if there's an adapter kit for this?

Also, the pulley spins freely, but I have no idea if the alternator will put out a charge. Will my local NAPA auto store be able to check it with their machine or do I need to find a shop that handles marine alternators
