replacing fuel tanks

We just purchased a Tayana 37'' 1981. We are looking forward to upgrading this beautiful boat, starting with the black iron fuel tanks. Actually our insurance is making this mandatory. The boat is in Ft Pierce Fl. Does anyone have experience with this. We have a quote for new aluminum, 2 tanks for the 90 gallon capacity, kinda pricey though. Thanks
