List of cruising essentials?

I like to make lists when I am bored. Or just for fun.

Do you know of any online lists of things a sailor should have aboard their boat before embarking on a coastal voyage?

It would be fun for me to look at and then check off one thing at a time.

Jennifer Lopez? Why?

So I could barter her for Megan Fox?

"I'll give you Jennifer Lopez, five microbrew, an old spinnaker from a j24, and thre harken ratchet blocks for Megan Fox?"

Have a look here: Focusing on The Important Things when Fitting out a Voyaging Sailboat

Not so much a list as a philosophy, but good nonetheless.

Seriously, have some JB Weld onboard. Great stuff. We have a fiberglass tape-reinforced JB Weld repaired pipe nipple on our exhaust system that has now gone halfway around the world. It started as a temporary repair and just seemed so secure that we left it alone even though we have the spare part onboard.
