I have a Fastenal store near me in Towson two miles away If you see some thing you want from he you can order it or see online if that store has it in inventory and I can pick it up for you

I agree Dave, the Mountain Road ACE is great, helpful with a great selection of SS, but I don't think they carry 316 hardware? FYI, there is a Fastenal off Ordnance Road just up Rt 10

Re: Fastenal, who knew?

Got all my SS from Fastenal in BC. Great guys, and gals there. I think their prices were very good.

Re: Fastenal, who knew?

I can't speak directly about their stainless stuff, but we are Fastenal's supplier for titanium stuff. They get their parts from the same lots as what we sell to Boeing, and are sticklers for quality. Great company to deal with!

Re: Fastenal, who knew?

I have found uneeda bolt & Screw company to be pretty good. Their website sucks though.. you need to call them and talk to somebody to get what you want.. but the prices are good, the service is very good, and the shipping is quick.

And they have to have one of the absolute best names in any business

Re: Fastenal, who knew?

Most decent sized US cities have a fastener wholesaler. In Portland, Maine it is KL Jack (they ship anywhere)... Fastenal is also a wholesaler of fasteners, we have one here in Poartland, but like Grainger I find their prices offensive, even at the wholesale/trade level.

For example Fastenal was $13.00 more for a box of 100 1/4 X 20 SS nyloc nuts. I pay about $5.50 for the 1/4 X 20 nlylocs at KL Jack and they'd cost me close to $19.00 at Fastenal... That is a HUGE markup!!! Fastenal I am sure buys at a much better price than KL Jack, but KL Jack does not try and rip me off just because what I buy is stainless steel....

I am at KL Jack about once a week and the guys are GREAT.. They also have the best price in the country for the FTZ battery lug crimp tool..
