radar

I was given a Garmin 182C for a retirement gift and I need recommendations on what radar would work with this GPS. The new systems appear to be multi units and more expensive.
Any suggestions?

Any or all of them will. Bsicaly the brand of GPS has nothing what so ever to do with radar.

Radar is a really cool device, however it''s not something you learn over night. It has it''s complexities and tricks that can take a long while to master.

I''ve been at it a short time and I can say you need to, practice in the good weather so you''ll be able to handle bad weather.

It''s not as easy as it appears, but whennin the hands of an expert it is amazing what it can do.

If where you sail has a lot of fog it is worth the time it takes to get good at it.
