Motor Throttle

I have a 94 Johnson 9.9 on my P26. Does anyone know how to create some friction and/or resistance on the throttle. What happens is, at higher speeds the twist grip on the tiller tends to turn back towards slow probably from vibration. I need to find a way to put resistance or drag on the throttle so it doesn''t do that. Quite a pain when motoring in and out of port.
