Re: Wheel Pilot part needed

Hi Lake Pirate - the problem with the clamp kit is you get one of each size clamp for 20 bucks. Three spokes means THREE KITS. Damn.
I need another of the smallest size and have the remaining four "oversized for my needs" clamps sitting on a shelf. If you need one of the larger sizes maybe we can work out a swap...

Re: Wheel Pilot part needed

I did order one of the packs. After I receive them I'll be able to tell you which size I need. I''m taking off the wheel that came on my Islander and putting on a folding wheel. The spokes on it are a small bit larger, thus the new clamps. I was just going to trim them out a little to make them fit. I didn't know they came in different sizes.
Thanks for the help guys.

Re: Wheel Pilot part needed

Odds are there are lots of 'odd sized' clamps floating about.. no one needs the whole set. I'd talk to local installers to see what's in their 'cast offs' box... might get them for a buck apiece...
