Outboard reference material?
 
Any good outboard motor books out there? Got one, don't know anything about it, want to make sure I take care of it and need to be able to troubleshoot it, etc.

The best is the factory service manual for your particular motor.

Suggest you do a Google, or equivelent, search. Type in the year, make, HP, and 2 or 4 stroke, tons of info available.

Y'know, somebody needs to write an "Outboards for the Compleat Idiot" type manual.
Those of us who have spent any serious time with VWs knows what I am talking about:
