Keel Bolts- Catalina 27

My keel bolts are basically non-existent. My plan was to screw in stainless lag bolts into the keel, fiberglass and add a backing plate.
I'm not sure - any advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Keel Bolts- Catalina 27

I have some lag bolts partenered with existing factory bolts. I used galnanized steel because stainless is subject to corrosion in standing salt water which will likely find it's way into the bolt holes.
