Looking for saildrive

Looking for a saildrive S120 to be re-connected to a volvo MD11.on a Waucquiez Pretorien P35/1984 : my housing is a bit ... corroded after 31 years of I think good service...
Does anyone know if a Yanmar saildrive would be compatible?
Thank you !

Re: Looking for saildrive

While not a saildrive expert I do some work on powerboat outdrives and can say with pretty good assurance interchanging parts is not a strong point as they drop in the boat as a unit including the hull sealing boot

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat

Yanmar will not fit!

I have a housing in good shape but the shipping costs....

try to find a good used lower unit and replace it, it is no witchwork.

the housings are NLA from Volvo and the S130 will not retrofit to the old MD11

The only option will be a repowering if you can´t get a good housing.

Nanni will fit!

Re: Looking for saildrive

I have a 110s and a MD11c that i'm looking to sell. They both worked fine, but I'm outfitting for a Carribean tour so i opted for a newer 3gm30f.
