3/8 npt to 5/8 barb

I'm having no luck finding this fitting in bronze or marelon. Groco, perko, forespar, apollo. None of these manufacturers make 3/8 stuff. Any ideas?

Re: 3/8 npt to 5/8 barb

You may need to do a 3/8-1/2" npt m-f reducer, then a 1/2"npt-5/8"barb. I've had to do that type of thing to get what I want in pipe fittings thru the years doing outdoor sprinkler work. Sometimes the fitting you want, literally does not exist, you you adapt!

Re: 3/8 npt to 5/8 barb

The standard one is 3/4 NPT X 5/8 in marelon or bronze

3/8 to 5/8 shows up in Google BUT it is brass or NON-MARINE PVC

Re: 3/8 npt to 5/8 barb

You are going to want to match the material of the hose barb adapter to whatever the 3/8 npt is mating to. 3/8 is not a typical thread size for bronze hardware so that's why it's hard to find. If it's brass then you can use brass for the application and brass barbs of that size are sold here:

https://www.fisheriessupply.com/midl...machined-brass

Otherwise, you might try Grainger Industrial Supply - MRO Supplies, MRO Equipment, Tools & Solutions They have a good selection of all sorts of fittings.
