Feedback on Tiller Tamers

The Heart of Gold has launched! As a result, I finally had the opportunity to try out the Tiller Tamer. Wonderful little piece. It worked flawlessly, and I can hardly remember what it was like without it.

If I set the tension high enough (but not too tight), it "tames" some of the feel of the the weather helm I experience with the sail combinations I use most often. It took a little getting used to and trying out, but after a 5 hour sail, it felt very natural. I would recomend this product to anyone with a transom hung rudder. Best $25 I spent on the boat.
