Yup, were all in this together it would appear .
Last two years all the boats in the marina would already be launch and ready.
To date almost 1/2 are still on the hard.
I'm one of the lucky ones, and got a weather window to get in, however I'm standing in the cockpit, with my new traveller in hand,(old one removed last fall) wondering when..........
I too have had a few choice words for the weather gods

Cheers
Jimmy

Re: Weather Gods...F**# Off.

Saturday May 18. Shortly after 1500 EST
Splash.
Motored dead into the wind for almost two hours to new home, just east of Toronto.
Will spend this AM cleaning the deck. (downtown Toronto storage yard was too dirty to bother)
This afternoon to check into The Old Mill where we got married in 2005.
This evening....practicing knots and re-enacting sea shanties in our hotel room as part of anniversary celebrations.

It's too late for that - he's screwed his entire summer (at least). Check the expiration dates on your PFD's.

Re: Weather Gods...F**# Off.

The weather gods clearly do not want me to do any bright work. I get that. The next weekend I took a clue from the early May 75 degree weather and went out into the bay. And then the wind slowed to a dead calm.

Re: Weather Gods...F**# Off.

Lol I hear ya. I have already had to push back my launch date by one week here in Nova Scotia due to the weather . Its way colder then last year and we've had pretty much nothing but rain for the last 2 to 3 weeks on nearly a daily basis. Last year I was painting in March and doing glass work in April.

Man I feel your pain, the epoxy is difficult to work with enough, without the added challenge of temps...
I SHOULD be out doing work right now and SHOULD have been ready to splash this week... but this entire week is a washout. CURSES!!
Until then I will blast this song whilst sobbing.
