Little Egg. Absecon Inlet (atlantic city) is one of the best and safest inlets in NJ

Well then I will certainly be staying away from the others.

Re: South Jersey anyone?

Absecon is one of the three easiest safest inlets in NJ ( Cape May and Manasquan being the other two)

Little Egg Inlet should not even be in the discussion to use with a keelboat and even with a middle to large powerboat is a dangerous treacherous inlet with the channel shifting every week. The CG moves the floating balls which mark the channel around on a weekly basis. What makes these inlets safe is the lack of extended shoals outward from the jetties any appreciable distance into the ocean.
