Nice day!

sailed a reach on the River, my YC almost to Rancocus creek, about 5 miles I think. That's equal to a 3 hr reach on the Chesapeake! No longer feeling blue about the boat either

Re: Nice day!

Washington finally decided it was going to be summer so I too am enjoying life way way more than last month. Humidity down from 90 to a nice 57. Pure sun. Light but some wind.

Re: Nice day!

So glad you finally got out. Funny how a few hours of sailing can clear all the gremlins out of your mind!

It's not too late to head down the river, though the canal, and on to Baltimore with Ulladh and me. We're departing 6 am Friday. You'd have to get your boat down to Essington before then.

Re: Nice day!

Denise, at least you could go sailing. That northwest wind blew all the water out of the lower Susquehanna River, and there was minimal water flowing at Conowingo Dam, which translates to my bot sitting in the mud and unable to move to the 40-foot depths just 100 feet west of my slip. I couldn't even get aboard the boat to sand and paint because it was resting on the bottom 6 feet away from the dock.

See you soon,

Gary
