Yard / marina in Chesapeake Bay

We are moving to the Virginia Eastern Shore (of the Chesapeake) with our Catalina 38. Since we don''t know where we''ll be exactly, we''re looking for 1) a good yard for blister filling and bottom paint, and 2) a nice marina. Both could be on eastern shore or Norfolk/VA Beach/Hampton areas. We''ll relocate the boat next year when we are all settled in, but for now we don''t mind driving an hour or so to go sailing. Any suggestions?

I''m located in Norfolk. Where specifically will you be on the Eastern Shore? On this side of the Ches. Bay Bridge-Tunnel there are several places in the Little Creek area.

A bit north of Norfolk/Hampton Roads is a top (though expensive) yard - Zimmerman''s located on Mobjack Bay. If you want a good marina, York River Yacht Haven is a good place to sail out of.

Zimmermans and York River YH are on the "other" side of the Bay and may or may not be very close depending on where you are going to berth the boat.
