Re: New NOAA Weather Alert

Can't say that I've heard it yet. Of course, we never get severe weather. 15kt on the beam and sunny every day.

As you can tell, I've thoroughly blocked out the hurricane haul I've done in each of the past three years..........

Jeanneau 54DS

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

Re: New NOAA Weather Alert

We experienced it today for the first time. All of a sudden an alarm was going off in the cockpit. We both scrabbled to check the oil pressure and coolant temperature. They were both fine. WTF? Then the wife noticed it was the cockpit VHF that was ringing the alarm. After we silenced it, it made me wonder if it would go off at regular intervals as long as the weather alert was active. We didn't hear it again, but we tucked in within the next hour or so.
