NOAA observed conditions (past)

Am I blind? Looking for a way to see what conditions were today at observation bouys at or near where I sailed, but I can't find it on the NOAA website. I don't have wind speed gauges, and I don't think the wind was what was predicted in the NOAA forecast today. I am still getting acquainted with what wind speed I like and what is good for my boat. I am pretty sure the last few times out the wind was not what was predicted.

I would love to know what the wind was blowing in reality today off Milford, CT as it was certainly a sweet spot for me and my boat. If only I could replay today over and over... So nice.

Go sailing now my brother,
It's later than you think.

Re: NOAA observed conditions (past)

This is the buoy closest to my marina (I have it bookmarked to check it before going out):
NDBC - Station WPOW1

You can pick other stations from there. Is this it?
NDBC - Station 44040

I'm no longer participating on SailNet.

Not sure about the NOAA link.

Weather History for Weather Station KCTSTRAT7 | Weather Underground

Or pick another weather station and use it's history.

Perfect. I think NWHC3 in New Haven is the closest. This is def what I was looking for. Looks like it was blowing 12-14. I could have had full sail up, but with 1 reef in the main and full jib it was a nice relaxing ride at a good pace.

Thanks!
