new rigging?

This may be a silly question but I'm going to ask anyway. How hard is it to run new rigging on a downed mast. After setting up the boat I realized how old the halyards are. Would love to install new. It would seem as though it would be incredibly simple with the mast down (it's a trailer queen) but, I've thought that before about stuff only to find out I was wrong. Would be running the halyard with clip.

Just attach your new halyard to an old one (some kind of mechanical joint, sewing is good) and use the old to pull the new one in. In some ways this is easier with the mast vertical.

I just did this. I've done alot of things to my boat this summer and this was maybe the easiest. Dont over think it like I tend to do.

Yep, its easy to do, mast up or down. I'd add to Faster's comment on sewing the lines together. Once you have the lines sewed together, put some tape over the sewed joint to make sure nothing hangs up. Since you'll be doing this with the mast down, it's much less of a hastle to clear a hang up than with the mast up. Just feed the line in tail first.
