On a 10 day break from work, sailing out tomorrow to go here:

And the weather is forecast to be outstanding, near record high temps and blue skies.

I had the general gist. Wondering about the specific locals in the pics. My bad for conflating Alaska and the PNW. I clearly need to spend time in both! Ha! "Downeast" takes in Maine and the Maritimes. Sort of a regional term. I do have a lot to learn.

We sail out of Seward, Ak. We plan to hit the Kenai Fjords Natl Park area, Aialik Bay, Northwestern Fjord, Two Arm Bay. Will only get about 50 miles from home but trees a lot to do in those 50 miles.
