Galilee 15 information requested

Hello All, just recently purchased a Galilee 15 with trailer out on the cape, in good condition overall, however, I do have one question. There is a thruhhull just port of the beam, I assumed to be the direct drain for the ice chest built in the forward "cabin". However, upon filling the ice chest with water, water does not come flowing out. Obviously could be blocked, but want to know if anyone has specific information regarding this design feature. thanks jim

Have you followed the line that feeds into the through hull inside the cabin? Check that the valve or seacock inside the boat is open as well.

I'm no longer participating on SailNet.

I had one of these a while back, and mine did not have a drain. Have you tried to stick your head in there to confirm that you have a drain?

Re: Galilee 15 information requested

well the ice chest area does have a drain clearly visible. and the through hull would seem to be logically located as the outlet. However, assumptions are often wishful thinking just want to make sure. Secondly, I'm hoping to come up with manuals and or other documentation regarding this model. thanks for your reply.
