One of the Js was in Antigua when we were there. If you chartered it, you also got its support vessel, which was around 120'. We were at an anchorage when the J came in and waited for the support vessel to anchor. The J spent the night rafted.

Back home on Lake Ontario after something over 36,000 nm circumnavigator. Not surprisingly there is a lot of stuff I want to get done on Ainia both cosmetically and functionally. Getting an early start so it will be ready to go for next summer (Lake Superior?).

Makes me glad at least somebody is rich enough to have boats like that.

Re: slow motion; Moguls, Millionaires, and me... J class

Did not know there were still six J boast in existence. Knew of Endeavor and Shamrock and thought there was a third. Saw Shamrock on a mooring quite a few years back in Newport. She was awesome looking just hanging on the mooring. Cant imagine what it looks like to see one sailing in person.

Boothbay Harbor Maine hosts a mega yacht race every year in August, the Shipyard Cup. Would love to see a couple of the J boats make the race.

Dennis Kozlowski had one of the J's until he was sent to prison for treating Tyco like his personal chequing account.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
