Re: Anchorage for Annapolis Fireworks?

We'll be doing the Dobbins Island/Gibson Island show on the 4th then meandering down to St Mike's for the show there.
Generally speaking from the Magothy you get to watch a dozen or so shows all at once.

Dave, Craigtoo will be doing the same trip, we'll be at St Mikes Friday - Sunday.

We will also be at Shaw Bay on Friday, then St. Michael's on Saturday for the fireworks. We will be at St. Michaels Marina, if anyone is there, stop by and say hi! We are Wavedancer.

Chuck.

Well look for you guys then. Keep and eye peeled for us Saturday as Donna is working on Thursday and then we are pulling out into the River to watch the Baltimore show. Probably going to anchor in Shaw Bay as the forecast is for hot and humid again and if there is any chance for a breeze it would be there.

George if you are not comfortable for traveling at night you can anchor on the NW side of the White Rocks and see it through the Key Bridge.

If you don't want the Key bridge in the way and you don't mind an hour or so night travel,

-you can anchor on the other side of the Key Bridge on the north side of the Priv Green1 in 10-12 ft of water

- or for a better view go up passing to the port of Ft McHenry and to the end of the Ferry Bar Channel G7. We have watched from their before ands saw the Blue Angels from their during OP Sail. It was right in the "box" when the climbed up0ward and did their tricks.

Have a good time.

BTW the community to the western side of Rock Creek puts on a hell of a good fireworks display also

After Shaw Bay on Friday, we also head to St. Michael's on Saturday. We'll be at Higgins. A Nonsuch is pretty easy to pick out of the crowd. Anyone who is nearby, please look for FATE and stop by to say hi.

I've never had a problem. We usually arrive there around 2p and have good choices.

Of course if I keep talking about it the place will start filling up.

A few weeks ago, I think I crossed near you on the West River. You were hidden behind my genoa, so I got a little closer than I normally would have.

I observed a rather disapproving look from your wife, so I apologize if that was you.
