My husband raced topfuel dragsters for 10 years, I worked with and raced harness horses for 20. Now we are truck drivers. We want to retire and trailer sail. I was in the 55 range my first sail and I was hooked. We started out with a Catalina 22, then bought a Mac26sx (I know, not a "real" sailboat) but it allows us to be on the water whenever we get the chance, no matter the weather. We''d really like a liveaboard, but then think about all the places we want to go so will trailer sail till that is out of our system. We just go and do what we want to do..not what someone thinks we should do because of our age.
