Antique Vessel Certification

Obveously the pro's would be to not have to register very year but does anyone know of any Con's to doing this?

Your location says Stuart, Florida, so I'm guessing that you are talking about registering your boat as an antique in the state of Florida. If that's what you mean then, no, there are no downsides that I am aware of.

Since the internet is international, and this forum in particular has a lot of participants from all around the world, in the future it would be best if you are specific about what jurisdiction you are talking about when you ask these kinds of questions.

Thanks for the info, I did not know it was specific to Florida in fact I had never heard about it before.
