Question Turning off forums

I am only interested in the information in about 5 of the forums on Sailnet. Show new posts gives me everything. Is there a way to "turn off" a forum so it does not show up in "new posts.?"

Not really. You can of course choose to ignore Off Topic (either all of it or just PRWG) but that is really the only user option.

Subscribing to threads might help but that only gives you notifications of new posts in sadi thread, not entire forum.

Re: Turning off forums

If you go under the New Posts and choose No Politics/Off Topic, you might find that you don't get much extraneous stuff.
