off shore sailing schools advice
 
Well things have been going pretty good finished the sailing class bought a sunfish and a dolphin to practice our new skills on now we are looking for a sailing school in the Caribbean would prefer one that use's single hull vessel's
would like hear peoples experience's both good a bad

would like something for this fall if anyone knows a good place

I think that most of the schools use monohulls for their training.

I can recommend Rob Swain Sailing School in the BVI, I took some of their ASA courses a while back and was very satisfied.

If you are looking at RYA certified schools you might have to head a bit further than the USVI/BVI, though.

I've known more that one to go through training with Off Shore Sailing School in Tortola and they were pleased. I've actually seen one go from absolute zero to a reasonably competent fair weather sailor in a week.
