Glad nobody was injured... it could have been terrible... (as opposed to just a proper punishment for a reckless attitude)

He's really lucky that he turned as his mast made contact with the bridge. Not sure if that was deliberate, but if he had kept going straight on, the mast would have come straight back into the cockpit.

I'm impressed by how much force it took before the mast failed. It lifted the bow out of the water almost 3 feet before it collapsed.

Well I guess he or She got under the bridge.

Maybe they wanted a new mast anyway.. Who Knows....

Perhaps he planned on tying up at the bridge since he had all his fenders out!
