Baja Ha-ha

Howdy, if I wanted to join one of the crew sailing in the Baja ha what would be the best way to go about this? I am willing to pay and work. Would you contact captains by searching the baja ha website? Hmmm, I'm sorry for spamming the board. Just relatively new to this. Thank you for your help.

Re: Baja Ha-ha

Go over to Lattitude 38 and sign up on their crew list. While that list is a generic crew list, that is, not specific to the baha, it is a good way to meet skippers and fellow crew mates. Also, check out Latitude 38's crew party.

Btw, as an aside, and imho, only. If you're fairly new to this, I wouldn't hold my breath in getting on as crew this late in the game. Though, it is perfect for getting to know various people, and increasing your odds for crewing for next year's baha.

Anyway, jmo. Am sure someone can (and will) correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Baja Ha-ha

About 3 months to go to the Baja Ha ha...plenty of time to get your name in the game. All kinds of boats heading South. I think Marine sniper is high on the list for desirable crew members too!

Good Luck.
