I need a tool....

My boat has deck fills that are opened using the spline on a winch handle, but for a few of them there isn't enough room to use a winch handle. I would like a straight T-handle with a winch spline on the end.....anyone seen/heard of such an animal?

Re: I need a tool....

More common in Europe, the key would be easier to find there, such as:

Re: I need a tool....

A piece of bar stock or wood, 11/16" square, should fit nicely...

Or, if you want to spend more money than Tatia's key, a Winch Bit would work...

Re: I need a tool....

Our boat came with exactly what you're looking for. Searching for t-handle deck plate key, I found that they are cast in China. I have no idea where you could purchase one. Perhaps, seeing the pic, someone else will know.

Lot's of folks will be interested in your stories of Alaska. I've been there 3 times by boat and once by car, would like to cruise there again. So don't hold back man!!
