small boat id

Hi guys. I have an image of a small boat, a dinghy really, that I would like to identify. Does anyone know what this is? I really love the hull shape. Wouldn't mind finding one. Thanks.

Don't know. But, I agree, the hull shape is attractive.

Re: small boat id

I have seen those before. it's definitely not one of those. the lines of the unknown dinghy are far more attractive.

Re: small boat id

At first I thought it was a Trinka, but they have a different transom profile:

Trinka 8, 10 and 12 Photo g\Gallery

Then I went into my garage and realized... that looks somewhat like my dink!

Mine is an 8' Small Craft sailing dinghy. Small Craft is no longer in business but they used to be in Baltic, CT.

And keep the wisecracks about my garage to a minimum! I'm working on my hoarding problem! ;^)

That isn't the same but it's similar. I will have to google that company. Perhaps it could be a different model.

that puffin dinghy is a nice looking boat, but that's not it. the bow is different. the one I am trying to id has a straight bow and the puffin has a spoon bow. I believe the stern is different, too.
