catamaran capsize

Apologies if I missed a thread on this, but a 28 foot catamaran capsized off the Chesapeake, with two fatalities. Does anyone have any information on the boat, or what happened? The usual brief media reports are pretty uninformative. US Coast Guard identified 2 who died when catamaran capsized off Ocean City, Md. - The Washington Post

The Baltimore Sun headline said it was a sailboat.

Well it's a perfect example of the general news media accuracy in sailing stories. We spend lots of time on Sailnet parsing each detail of each story we read in the media -- and here they can't tell the difference between a sailboat and a powerboat.

To be fair...it is upside down!
