What time of year?

In the summer New England is quite nice.
We like the Chessy in early fall.
Bahamas are great in late winter.

Ah, a USA-only poll. And missing a couple of nice areas, though they're hardly deep secrets... maybe Great Lakes, NC, western Gulf, etc., are flyover country and Hawaii is more of a place to go to than to cruise around, and USVIs, Puerto Rico/Spanish VIs aren't quite American enough.

Re: Favorite cities and states for sailing?

Is this where you would keep your boat, or where you would sail to?

If I was picking one place to be, it would be Oriental, NC.

Re: Favorite cities and states for sailing?

Long Island sound, for me this includes out to Block and Martha's, but that could be just me though.

The USVI's and the BVI's are where I can see myself when its winter on the sound. Just have to come up with the scratch to go there for four or five months every year
