Eastern Shore Chesapeake Marina Recommendation?

Does anyone have a recommendation for an Chesapeake eastern shore marina - nothing fancy - just best price for a home port?

The bay is pretty big. How about narrowing it down a bit.

You could try Gateway Marina they were the cheapest I know about.

You will get a better response if you gave some more information

Some places I would use to locate a slip...
Marinas.com
Craigslist
local pennysaver

You might get lucky and find a slip for rent by homeowner or community pier. Also consider moorings instead. The only moorings I know of on the eastern shore are in swan creek, contact swan creek Marina I believe.

In addition to price, I would consider these: Is it a working marina that can do haul-out and storage; clean restrooms/showers; swimming pool for those really hot, sweltering days; nearby restaurants or stores; parking while you're cruising; internet service, etc.?

Re: Eastern Shore Chesapeake Marina Recommendation?

I'ld go to activecaptain to have a look see. We had a slip at Piney Narrows Marina there on Kent Island for several years and it is a well run marina. There are several marinas in the Kent Narrows area to chose from however there are shoaling problems on the approach from the Chester River so be forewarned. When we were there a couple of years ago our 6 ft draft prevented us from taking the Chester River exit on several occasions. Great cruising area to explore once you get out of that channel.

Hance's Point marina is a DIY. It's at the northern end of the bay. From one seller who kept his boat there, I understand it's almost entirely moorings. The price was fantastic, though, something like $1000/year, including winter storage.
